    Stars have huge incentives to lose weight quickly because they do not want to lose a potential part to a rival actress or actor. They also have the finances to hire an entire team of nutritionists, fitness trainers and chefs to help them reach their goal.

Diet Plan

    Stars must then decide which diet plan best fits their needs. Julia Roberts and Salma Hayek use Diet Designs, which sends them freshly prepared meals, based on their nutritional goals. Meals are divided into 25 percent lean protein, 25 percent healthy fats and 50 percent unrefined carbs; veggies are allowed as much as they want. Halle Berry and Katherine Heigl prefer the 5-factor diet, which allows them to consume five meals a day, each containing five factors: low-sugar carbs, 5 grams of fiber, protein, healthy fats and a sugar-free drink. Jenny McCarthy still uses the reliable Weight Watchers, because it promotes eating healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables and lean meats, as well as using portion control and tracking exercising.

Exercise Plan

    Stars need to supplement their diet plan with an exercise regimen to lose weight and continue to stay in shape. Denise Richards hired a personal trainer to help her lift weights and she does cardio on the machines at the gym, while Uma Thurman used the martial arts skills she learned in "Kill Bill" to achieve a high-impact workout. The stars make exercising a priority so that they can shape up fast.
