Trying to lose weight and feel good is an inclination that will never go away, and the good news is, there are plenty of ways to do so by way of what you eat.

Atkins Diet

    Popularized by the juicing machine in the early 1990s, this diet sheds pounds quickly without making followers feel lethargic. It consists solely of turning fruits and vegetables into liquid form.

Mediterranean Diet

    One plan that indicates carbs are OK, the Mediterranean Diet stresses fruits, vegetables, nuts, healthy fats and even a little wine.

Detox Diet

    This plan isn't just for people undergoing rehabilitation treatment for drugs and alcohol anymore. Instead, the Detox Diet has gone mainstream with its focus on organic food, herbs and lots of water.
