What Is High in Protein But Low in Fat & Carbs?

One of the most difficult things about getting started with and sticking with your new diet is working out all the foods you can and can't eat. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Shrimp

    One hundred grams of shrimp have only 2 g of fat and 1 g of carbohydrates. It also has a full 20 g of protein.

    Any type of lean fish will do. A 159 g fillet of bass will have 4 g of fat, no carbs, and 28 g of protein.

Roasted Turkey

    A cup of white roasted turkey meat will have no carbs, 42 g of protein, and only 5 g of fat.

Lean Veal

    One hundred grams of lean veal will have no carbs, only 4 g of fat, and 35 g of protein.

    An ounce of cottage cheese will have 3 g of protein and only 2 g of carbohydrates, with less than a gram of fat.
